Congressional Challenge to BCS

I know we have a financial crisis, but let's get our priorities straight.  I can't believe we go into 2009 without a college football playoff, even if it's a flawed one.  I don't think we need a perfect system. Use any reasonable system to pick 8 teams and you've got all the teams that can make a legitimate claim at a championship-caliber season.  See this article to read about a Texas congressman playing the "red card" in an attempt to turn sentiment against the BCS.  I like it. 

Tiger Isn't Done

I'm going to go out on a limb and state that we are not yet living in the post-Tiger era. I think he makes one more great run before descending into greatness (can only fall so far from immortality).
